Bath time is one of my favorite things with Porter. He is just so very cute! We started out giving him sponge baths. He wasn't too fond of those, because he was lying naked on the counter. I wouldn't like that either. We tried to keep him covered up as much as possible, and he seemed to tolerate it. Of course, he still loved to have his back washed...he is his mother's child...loves a good back rub. These are pictures from his first bath at home:
Since then, we have progressed. His cord fell off, which means we graduated to the little tub. I was ultra-concerned about his water being the right temperature. Well, I ended up having it too cold. Jonathan would tell you that he told me so. I just kept telling him that Porter's skin was more sensitive than ours, and we couldn't burn our baby. I was wrong. I'll admit. So by bath #3, we warmed up the water, and no more crying. He now lies in his tub like a big boy and loves it. He looks around, moves his little legs around, and listens to us talk to him as he gets his spa treatment. Check out these great pictures:
Just chillin' in my tub...no big deal.
Get that camera out of here! I'm naked!
Can you say, CHUB? How many chins do you see? Milk, it does a body good.
Today, we had a great, sunshine-filled day. I took Hank on a run this morning, of which he loved every second. Then Gran Bren kept Port for a little bit while I went to the grocery store. After that Bea Bea & Pops stopped by on their way home from work to see him. It had been a week since poor Porter had seen them, and they reported that he definitely had more hair and fat rolls...haha. We are in the process of setting up our patio, so we enjoyed it some this afternoon. I think we may live out there this spring and summer! Looking forward to more sunny and warm days the rest of this week!

LOVE this post:) I laughed at him "chillin' in his tub!" He is precious and love hearing about how much you love being a mommy! I know you are a great one!
