1. I ran a fever and felt miserable. Just a little mommyish problem, nothing Porter could catch.
2. Porter developed extreme fussiness from 5pm-midnight, and then had a couple of almost sleepless nights.
3. #1 and #2 coincided, which equals misery.
4. All of the above resolved at the same time, which makes for a much happier family. Plus, good weather and sunshine!!!
5. Hank and Porter went on their first (of many) walks together!!! We went on days when it was warm with sunshine, and it was so nice! I wasn't going to take Hank on the first day, because I was nervous about how he would do walking with a stroller. But then, he saw me putting on my sweat pants and running shoes, and he got so excited, I couldn't bear to leave him at home. So we set out, and he did so good! He walked right beside the stroller. (Always on the left, because he has to walk to the left of everyone, as he always has. He is a creature of habit.) I think he was so proud to be walking with his baby. But looking at the pictures below, I wouldn't call that face proud:
Looks more like humiliation to me, but at least he had fun and got some exercise. He put on some weight this winter with a decrease in his exercise. I think he just felt bad for me gaining weight with being pregnant.
6. Porter wore the cutest hat ever, thanks to my fabulous co-worker Sarah! Brace yourselves for this cuteness:
7. Car ride to Sonic one night just to get out. We had no food, and REALLY needed to get out of the house that day. It was a LOOOONG day, to say the least. Porter quit crying, and I was a happy girl.
8. Porter had his 2 week check-up at the pediatrician, and he is pretty much perfect!Beth
Oh my goodness! He looks way too cute in that hat! I must see him this week!
