2 Month Check Up

We took the little bud to the doctor on Friday for his 2 month check up.  We hadn't been to the doctor since he was 2 weeks old, and at that point he was in the 50th percentile all around...height, weight, and head circumference.  At his 2 month visit he was:

23 1/4 inches (50th %)

12 pounds, 13 ounces (75th%)

So he is definitely gaining weight good!  While at the doctor, he got his shots.  It was Good Friday, but not such a good Friday for this little boy.  He handled it pretty well, though.  Screamed his head off for the sticks, but then calmed down and napped the rest of the day.  It wore him out.  Here he is talking to Dr. Godfrey during his exam.

His newest trick is sleeping through the night, and we couldn't be more excited about this!  He sleeps in his crib for 10-12 hours each night, and when he wakes up in the morning, he is the happiest baby.  I think he loves sleep as much as I do!  Some other tricks he is now doing: smiling at everyone, cooing and "talking", drooling a little, hitting his hanging toys on the playmat, and still hating tummy time.  He is such a happy, fun, easy baby.  We are so blessed!
