8 Months!

This handsome boy was 8 months old yesterday!  I think this at each milestone, but 8 months really is the most fun age.  He is happy happy happy!  Here are a few things that Porter is doing now days:

Sits up and plays all by himself

Starting to eat finger foods, but doesn't quite have his pincer grasp

Loves almost every baby food, and also some soft food that we eat now

Learning to use a sippy cup

Turns the pages when we read books

Babbling constantly to communicate with us, as if we can understand

Saying, "da-da-da-da"...not in reference to Jonathan, but we'll let him keep thinking that :)

Laughs a LOT, but especially at Hank

2 bottom teeth

Pulls down his crib bumper to look when we walk in his room

Still sleeping 10-12 hours every night, with 2 naps in the day

Favorite things include: Hank, outside, baths, little blue puppy, and 'If I were a Puppy' book

AND NEW TODAY: CRAWLING!!!

Well, more like scooting across the floor.  It's a little army crawl.  And it is so hilarious.  He gets really excited about doing it too.  He decided he would start this scooting thing today while I was taking his monthly pictures.  So I was lying on the floor in his room taking his picture, and he really wanted the camera.  So he scooted all the way to me and got it (see pic below)!
