Jonathan left for Honduras for a week on July 5th, so that left Porter and I to fend for ourselves. We went to the lake that day with mom and dad, or BeaBea and Pops. Porter went last summer too, but he was too little to do much. This time, he had the best time! We had a little kiddie pool for him on the dock (because it was 100+ degrees), and he played in that and with the hose. We also rode on the boat and swam in the lake. And of course he always has a ton of fun with his Uncle Brian, and all our other "family" down there to play with. Port felt the need to entertain all of the people most of the weekend. We had a great time, and here are a few pictures:
Just doing some grilling outside in his mini-camp chair
So happy
Lovin' the hose
Not too excited about this life vest
Still not loving the life vest
A little shade tent on the boat while we swam. Just call me pink cheeks.
My little buddy...looks really red-headed here
Porter was so happy to have his daddy back home. Jonathan brought him a prize: Honduran soccer shorts (and a Honduran hacky sack, of which Hank has already chewed a hole). They're hilarious. How much does he look like a big boy in this picture?!?!
Lots of Love,
Beth
