ONE

The day is here.  He's ONE.  I just put my little one year old to bed for the first time.  He's the sweetest.  We had a GREAT weekend: family and friends for a big party yesterday, lots of playing and eating cake, and a relaxing day at home today.  I'll post more later with his party pictures, but for now, here's all about our one year old!

Some One Year Info:

He has EIGHT teeth now!

Favorite foods include turkey and cheese sandwiches, grapes, blueberries, oatmeal, yogurt, spaghetti, goldfish, mandarin oranges

In a new phase of patting his mommy = sweet

Also a new phase of giving great BIG open mouth kisses on the lips = sweet and slobbery

Words he says: Da-da, diaper, light (No mommy, thanks a lot)

Pointing at everything to go look at it or talk about it

Wants to turn off/on every light switch

Still crawling to get places, but he is "cruising" around all our furniture and pushing his toy

Loves Hank and smiles, pats, and talks to him all day

Now drinking whole milk from his sippy cups

Still in size 3 diapers

Likes to pat his tummy while having his diaper changed

Can "moo" and "oink"...still working on those other animals

Taking 2 naps a day still

Mastered a fake laugh that he pulls out when people in the room are laughing

Favorite time of day is definitely bath time

When he stands up in the bathtub, I say, "Sit down, Porter," (in my stern, mommy voice)...and he gently lowers himself down.  It cracks me up.

I'm sure I'll think of more to add to that list later, but that's it for now.  He is so much fun!  More on the party later...he had a blast, by the way!
